When a loved one passes away, families are overwhelmed with countless things to arrange during a time of extreme shock and grief. In order to assist during this time, ICN offers the services below to make this process a bit easier for our community members.
How do I arrange the funeral service (Janazza prayer)?
- Contact the ICN administrator for assistance to schedule the date and time of the funeral service (janazza prayer)
- Request Mufti Ibrahim to officiate at the service
How do I announce the news to the community?
If the family wishes to have an email announcement of the funeral or Quran khattam/khwani, please email the Board of the Directors info@goicn.org. Please provide the name of the deceased and any additional information the family would like to share with the community such as date, time, and location of funeral and burial. Some other useful information to include name of spouse, parents, and children. Optionally, the family may send a picture of the deceased, via email, if they would like it to be shared with the community.
Sample Email Template:
